I thought this was exactly the type of thing that was NOT supposed to happen here. But the post was a little short on content, so who cares?

The deals are good because we got younger and faster. The speed and run-creating ability of the top of our lineup was vastly overrated last year. It's tough to say goodbye to players who have played well for you, but this group is/was getting long in the tooth.

All Kaiser knows is that the "Junior Boardmember" tag better get upgraded. Kaiser loves titles. You know, Alcoholic, Pervert, Lush, etc.

We did get younger. The Alomar trade has hints of Joe Carter on it. It would be great. Lawton is a damn fine player. Earl Snyder and Traber? Who knows, maybe they'll be a Sandy and Carlos.

If you post a topic, sometimes it takes 30 seconds or a minute for the topic to load. (it can even take longer, but that is not that common)

If you move on before your topic post has "taken", it may not post your topic.

Although nobody likes to wait, that's a pretty small price to pay for being able to keep that discussion going over a span of weeks or months.

Kaiser, when you hit the big "30" for posts made, you are no longer a "junior". That's not my rule, it's just how it's designated on Hostboard.
